VoiceCart listens for the wake word "VoiceCart" using on-device speech recognition. When it detects the word with sufficient confidence, it activates command mode and responds aloud. You can then give any voice command immediately — no need to open the app or tap the screen.
You can create lists by store ("Create a Costco list"), add items ("Add eggs to my grocery list"), and remove items ("Remove coffee from my Target list"). When creating a list, VoiceCart will also ask whether you want location tracking, a due date, calendar sync, and deal search — all answered by voice.
When you create a list with location tracking enabled, VoiceCart finds the nearest locations for that store using Apple Maps and sets up geofences. When you physically enter the geofenced area, iOS triggers a notification to remind you to shop. You control the alert radius in settings.
Yes. Your lists are stored locally on your device using Core Data, so you can view, add, and remove items even without a connection. Features like deal search, iCloud sync, and finding new nearby stores do require internet access.
Open any list and tap Share. You can invite collaborators by email and assign them view, edit, or full access. You can also generate a share code that anyone with VoiceCart can enter to join the list. All collaborators see updates in real time.
